About the Photographer
I was born in Eastport Maine where I spent most of my life. I now live in Perry, 7 miles outside of Eastport. I have the pleasure of living in a country setting and still very close to the ocean. The scenery here is constantly changing due to the seasons and tides. It provides never ending possibilities for photographing, I only capture a very small amount of its beauty.
I have been interested in photography for a little of 15 years. It has allowed me to see so much beauty in this state. I use a Nikon D200 and Nikon D300 digital cameras. I have learned photography by trial and error, reading what I can, and the very helpful tips of other photographers. It does take skill to take a nice photograph but being in the right spot at the right time and always having your camera ready is one of the best ways of capturing a great image to me.
